Job summary

Cunningham Contracts Group is seeking experienced Groundworkers to join our team in Lynch's Lane, Clondalkin. You will lay foundations, drainage, concrete floors, and pave areas, ensuring accuracy and safety on site.

Ideal candidates will hold a Safe Pass certificate, Manual Handling certificate, and demonstrable civil groundworks experience, with the ability to read drawings and operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and trenching work for foundations, pipes, and other structures.
• Preparation of sub-bases for concrete and paving.

• Laying of paving, kerbs, and edging stones.
• Removal of vegetation and debris from construction sites.
• Interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations.

We are currently seeking experienced and talented Groundworkers to join our high performing team. Groundworkers play a crucial role in laying the foundation for structures, ensuring stability and safety and upholding the quality reputation of CCG. As an essential member of the team, this role will focus on, but is not limited to, excavating trenches for foundations to laying drainage systems, concreting floors, and building pavements.

LOCATION:

Lynch's Lane, Clondalkin

CONTRACT TYPE:

Full-Time, Permanent

HOURS:

Monday – Friday, 42.5 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

The Candidate

• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools, including excavators, dumpers, and tampers.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in construction
• Ability to work as part of a team.
