Qualifications

• VCI Registered Veterinary Nurse or student nurse eligible for registration in 2026.
• Confident with animal handling and monitoring anaesthesia.
• Keen to develop career in a supportive first-opinion practice.
• Approachable, proactive and good at communicating with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation.
• Inpatient nursing care and nurse consultations.
• Medication management and patient discharges.
• Post‑operative follow-ups and infection control.
• Occasional reception/cattery assistance as needed.
• Collaborative teamwork across the practice.
