Job summary

Ark Vetcare Dún Laoghaire is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy small animal practice. We offer full training and ongoing mentorship within a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to gold standard patient care.

This role covers inpatient care, surgical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring and client communication. A full-time pattern with five days per week is described, with additional weekend rota and no out-of-hours requirements.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be registered, or eligible to register, with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
• Full training and ongoing support provided by an experienced team.
• Hard-working, enthusiastic and motivated individual eager to learn and deliver gold standard patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, surgical nursing and anaesthesia monitoring.
• Assist with patient recovery, laboratory work and client communication.
• Support consultations and perform some reception/administrative duties as part of the team.
