Job summary

AECOM is seeking talented graduates to join our Traffic Engineering teams across the UK & Ireland. As a Graduate Traffic Engineer based in Dublin, you will support design development, site visits, and workshops to deliver safer, efficient transport solutions for communities.

You will receive structured training in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LinSig, TRANSYT and VISSIM, working with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to build your skills across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering, General Engineering or Geography (2:1+).
• MEng in Civil/General Engineering (2:1+).
• MA/MSc in Geography or Transport Planning or related discipline advantageous.
• Master’s in Mathematics or related quantitative field considered.

Responsibilities

• Support development of designs and technical solutions through project stages.
• Attend site visits, meetings and workshops with clients and design teams.
• Receive training in engineering and traffic modelling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LinSig, TRANSYT, VISSIM).
• Develop understanding of digital engineering and BIM processes.
• Grow into greater project responsibilities from inception to completion.
