Job summary

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with numbers, drawings and project information.
• Based in Cavan or within a realistic daily commute.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing estimates and tenders for structural steel projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and project information to understand what is being priced.
• Build up material, fabrication, labour and associated project costs.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and help compare costs.
• Work alongside experienced estimators, project managers and engineers to develop your understanding of the industry.
• Develop your commercial and technical knowledge as you take on more responsibility.
