Job summary

Xtremepush is seeking a Graduate QA Engineer to join our QA team in Dublin. This role offers hands-on testing of web applications, APIs, integrations and new product features, with mentoring from experienced QA engineers and collaboration across product teams.

The position is hybrid, requiring in-office days in Dublin and close cooperation with developers, product managers and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing of new features, enhancements and bug fixes.
• Create, maintain and execute test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke and exploratory testing.
• Validate bug fixes and verify reported issues.
• Review product designs and specifications, providing QA feedback early in the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to performance testing activities.
• Test different areas of the platform, including the core platform, Gamification, Loyalty and third-party integrations.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis and clearly document defects in Jira.
• Work closely with developers, Product Managers and designers to understand requirements and expected behaviour.
• Research features independently and make informed testing decisions to ensure a high-quality product.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Learn and contribute to API and UI automation testing using modern testing tools.
