Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Recent graduate or final year status.
• Co-op or relevant work experience valued.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Familiarity with test software and programming tools such as LabVIEW, C or C++ preferred.
• Knowledge of validation processes in medical device industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proactive problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations for implantable medical devices as part of the Test Engineering team.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to identify improvements and resolve issues.
• Perform device failure analysis to identify root causes at the component level.
• Work with internal/external software developers to improve software applications and systems.
• Improve product quality, lean manufacturing performance and test system efficiency while reducing production fallout.
• Conduct testing, analyze data, prepare technical reports and perform validation activities per standards.
• Apply data analysis and problem-solving skills using standard tools and tracking systems.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and support regulatory submissions through change processes.
