Job summary

Cundall is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its Building Services team in Ireland. You’ll contribute to designs for varied projects, from education to data centres, with sustainability at the forefront. You’ll work under experienced engineers and progress toward chartership through CPD programmes.

You’ll be exposed to multi-disciplinary collaboration, parametric modelling, and professional development, with a structured graduate scheme and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be on target to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
• Desirable to hold or be on course for a BEng/MEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Interest in innovative and sustainable mechanical engineering for built environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with parametric modelling tools like Grasshopper/Dynamo or a modern language (Python, C#, VB).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the detailed mechanical building services design and analysis.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across education, healthcare, workplace, retail and data centres.
• Translate client needs into building services concepts (ventilation, cooling, heating, etc.).
• Support development towards chartership through professional programmes.
