Job summary

Dawn Meats in Grannagh, Waterford is recruiting for an entry-level enterprise IT infrastructure role. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on exposure to systems, networks and security controls that support a multi-site manufacturing business.

The role starts with supervised tasks and progress toward troubleshooting, site deployments, automation and project work as you grow. It includes mentoring, formal training and opportunities to develop certifications while building

Qualifications

• Interest in infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity demonstrated via study or projects.
• Relevant degree/diploma/certificate or apprenticeship in computing or IT.
• Basic understanding of IP networking, operating systems, hardware and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically and document actions clearly.
• Good written and verbal communication and willingness to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure and security dashboards and respond to alerts.
• Provide first and second-line support for servers, networks, Wi‑Fi, identity, and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with installation, configuration and testing of switches, access points, firewalls, servers.
• Support user and device administration, patching and security checks.
• Document procedures, diagrams and inventory records.
