Job summary

Dawn Meats in Charleville, Co. Cork, Ireland is offering a graduate level Technical programme. You will work with the R&D, sales and production teams, gaining real responsibility with formal training and mentorship from dedicated mentors and senior leaders.

The role focuses on food safety, quality compliance and contributing to process improvements while developing as a future technical manager within the business. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this is a full-time/permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline (Food Technology, Nutrition, Science).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook etc.; teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail; Commercial awareness; Excellent communication skills.
• HACCP training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company on technical issues across R&D, sales and production.
• Ensure products are produced safely, legally and in line with Dawn Meats policies and retailer requirements.
• Assist with quality operations, procedures and document control.
