Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in Ireland to join a diverse, multidisciplinary team. You will work with industry-leading specialists, applying geotechnical principles to a broad portfolio of projects while developing into a trusted engineering professional.

Qualifications

  • Full working rights in Ireland and a recent degree related to geotechnical engineering.
  • Exposure to geotechnical software and strong fundamentals in geotech concepts.
  • Travel flexibility and a full driving licence are advantageous.

Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
An undergraduate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the following disciplines:
  • Civil Engineering
  • Ground / Geotechnical Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • You should also have:
  • A strong understanding of geotechnical engineering fundamentals.
  • Exposure to geotechnical software. Knowledge of tools such as PLAXIS, GIS is an advantage.
  • A passion for technical excellence and problem-solving.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
To Be Considered For a Graduate Opportunity, Your Application Must Include a Copy Of Your Academic Transcript And Meet The Following Criteria
  • Full working rights in the country of application
  • No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
  • Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.

Eligibility

We're able to consider candidates who require an employment permit to work in Ireland, where the role and offered salary meet the Irish Government's eligibility criteria (for example, under the Critical Skills or General Employment Permit schemes).
