Job summary

Flynn Ireland is offering a 12-month Graduate Engineer Programme to learn on live construction projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You’ll gain practical site experience, receive mentoring, and build confidence and technical skills while contributing to project delivery.

We support you with experienced colleagues and structured feedback to guide your development as a professional engineer in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Recent or upcoming graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
Curious and motivated with interest in on-site work and problem-solving.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive approach to learning and taking ownership of work.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Support setting out activities and learn surveying equipment usage.
Assist site teams by interpreting drawings, specifications and technical information.
Record site progress and key information clearly.
Support quality, safety and documentation processes on site.
Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors.
Take direction, ask questions and contribute to project delivery.
