Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Graduate Embedded AI Engineer to join the anSWer Embedded AI team in a trainee role. You will assist in deploying AI/ML models on embedded hardware and contribute to software components using C/C++ and Python.

The role involves model conversion, testing on development boards and collaborating with experienced engineers on production-oriented projects. Candidates typically hold an honours bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, with a Master’s degree beneficial.

Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Master's degree beneficial but not required.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python from education or projects.
• Familiarity with Linux and Git/version control.
• Exposure to ML concepts: training vs inference, datasets, evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in embedding AI deployment on embedded/edge platforms.
• Develop software components using C/C++ and Python.
• Perform model conversion and operator compatibility checks for runtimes and hardware.
• Build, run and test software on development boards.Investigate integration issues with guidance from engineers.
