Job summary

Valeo seeks a Graduate Embedded AI Engineer to deploy and validate AI/ML models on embedded and edge devices. Under guidance, you will apply software engineering, deep learning and embedded-system fundamentals to implement, test, benchmark and optimise AI solutions on target hardware.

You will work with senior engineers, develop strong technical foundations, and contribute to production-oriented projects across Valeo's mobility platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming and software engineering principles.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git and command line tools.
• Understanding ML concepts: training vs inference, datasets, model evaluation.
• Exposure to ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Embedded AI deployment: assist senior engineers in integrating trained AI/ML models on embedded/edge platforms.
• Develop and modify software components using C/C++ and Python.
• AI model conversion, operator compatibility checks, and custom operator development with appropriate runtimes and hardware.
• Build, run and test software on development boards or target hardware.
• Investigate software/model integration issues with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Develop integration tests and simple automation scripts.
