Job summary
Roughan & O'Donovan (ROD) is seeking an electrical engineering professional to support live projects from feasibility through to design documentation. You will work with experienced engineers to deliver substations, underground cables, and grid connection studies, contributing to technical reports and route assessments.
A Level 8 electrical engineering degree or equivalent is required, with strong English communication and a keen eye for detail.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline (Level 8).
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Responsibilities
- Assist with substation layouts, plans, sections and elevations.
- Support underground cable route studies and constraint identifications.
- Review maps/drawings to identify utilities and potential cable routes.
- Assist with grid connection and electrical infrastructure assessments.
- Prepare technical reports and route assessment documents.
