Job summary

Lead Group Ireland are currently recruiting for a Graduate EHS Specialist to join a multinational engineering contractor supporting pharmaceutical projects across the Cork region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career within Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), gaining hands‑on experience across large‑scale engineering and construction projects within the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or related discipline.
• Recent graduate or early-career EHS professional.
• Experience in construction/engineering/industrial environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of EHS policies across project sites.
• Assist with site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Support risk assessments and method statement reviews.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and project requirements.
• Support toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inductions.
• Assist with environmental and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain EHS documentation and records.
• Collaborate with site management, engineers and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
