Job summary

Weltec is seeking a motivated Graduate / Junior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team and support a variety of construction and engineering projects in the Cork area. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging EHS professional to gain hands‑on experience while working closely with the EHS Manager and collaborating with Site Project Managers across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Completed or currently undertaking a recognised qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Experience in the construction sector; however, full training will be provided.
Experience in regulated environments is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with client to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
Prepare and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and EHS documentation.
Conduct EHS audits, inspections and incident investigations; assist with corrective actions.
