BMS Performance Ireland is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer in Ireland to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business. You will work hands-on in design engineering with real project responsibility, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interest in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience using CAD software through education, projects or placements.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Placement, internship or project experience within manufacturing would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the design and development of mechanical products and components.
• Producing 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Assisting with product development and design improvement projects.
• Supporting prototype development and testing activities.
• Working closely with manufacturing and production teams.
• Reviewing engineering specifications and technical requirements.
• Assisting with problem-solving and technical analysis.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Preparing technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Participating in design reviews and project meetings.
