Job summary

Arup's Energy Infrastructure team invites applications from graduates to help design secure, low-carbon energy systems. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will contribute to energy infrastructure projects across sites, stations, pipelines, cables and related facilities, working with experts from multiple disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.

You'll engage in feasibility studies, optioneering, civil calculations, technical reports and drawings, and collaborate with specialists across Civil,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in civil engineering design and energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of site development, drainage, roads, foundations, pipelines and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of energy infrastructure projects, including sites, stations, pipelines, cables and facilities.
• Assist with feasibility studies, optioneering and site development.
• Contribute to civil engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and drawings.
• Help design earthworks, drainage, access roads, foundations and underground services.
• Collaborate with Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental and Digital specialists.
• Participate in site visits, surveys, workshops and project meetings.
