Graduate Aerospace Design Engineer – Modifications

Job summary

Inter-Tec Aero is recruiting graduate engineers to grow with our expanding aerospace workload. Candidates will join a team working on design and certification of modifications and repairs to aircraft, helicopters, and engine nacelle structures.

Base location initially Prestwick, with focus on Shannon, Ireland; remote working may be offered in year one and as engineers become based there. Reports to Engineering Manager and participates in graduate development.

Qualifications

• Candidates will be educated to degree level in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or a related subject.
• Graduate development and mentoring programme to progress to Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and their application across projects; preparation of drawings and stress calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop modifications and upgrades to aircraft and prepare structural repair solutions.
• Prepare design and certification solutions in support of modification and repair project requirements.
• Prepare drawings and stress calculations and ensure outputs meet time, cost and quality targets.

Education

Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
