Job summary

RBK Chartered Accountants is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to join our Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRA) team. The role involves delivering governance, risk management, compliance, and internal audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio.

You will lead a team of qualified and trainee accountants, manage workflows, and build strong client relationships while maintaining high-quality, bespoke services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, business, finance or similar.
• A professional qualification in risk, compliance or internal audit is desirable but not essential.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in risk, compliance, governance and/or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks.
• Excellent presentation skills, attention to detail and practical approach.
• Strong people management and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Outsourced risk management engagements within client portfolios.
• Outsourced compliance functions and internal audit reviews.
• Bespoke internal control reviews and risk assessments.
• Lead and supervise a team of qualified and trainee accountants.
• Present findings to partners and manage client meetings and deadlines.
• Liaise with team administrator to prepare presentations and manage workflows.
