Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a GPU Modelling engineer in Ireland who specializes in C++ and computer architecture to join a global graphics leadership team.

You will develop bit-accurate C/C++ models for new architectures, build test suites, and verify designs with C-Models and RTL simulations.

The role requires strong communication, debugging, and experience with graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL) and scripting in Python or Perl.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and/or graphics pipelines.
• Intermediate+ C++ development, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building models in C++ and knowledge of graphics APIs is a plus.
• Clean, maintainable C++ coding practices and scripting experience are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop bit-accurate functional C/C++ models for new architectures.

• Execute conformance, stress, and random tests to stabilize GPU and compute systems.

What you will do

Work closely with architects, designers, driver, and compiler teams to:

• Develop bit-accurate functional C/C++ models for new architectures


• Build test suites and verify designs using C-Models and RTL simulations


• Execute conformance, stress, and random tests to stabilize GPU and compute systems

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and/or graphics pipelines


• Intermediate+ C++ development, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience building models in C++


• Knowledge of graphics/compute APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, etc.)


• Clean, maintainable C++ coding practices


• Scripting experience (Python/Perl)


• Background in 3D graphics, GPU compute, drivers, or compilers


• Experience with Agile development


• Strong communication skills and comfort working with distributed teams
