Job summary

European Tech Recruit partners with a leading technology company to hire a Staff Graphics Tools Engineer to design and develop profiling, debugging, and performance analysis tools for GPU workloads.

The role focuses on maximizing GPU performance across graphics and compute workloads, collaborating with GPU hardware, graphics drivers, compilers, and software engineering teams to validate performance and identify optimisation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial experience developing graphics software, GPU developer tools, or performance analysis applications.
  • Excellent programming skills in C++, C, or modern systems programming languages such as C#, Rust, or Go.
  • Deep understanding of GPU architecture, graphics pipelines, and modern rendering concepts.
  • Experience developing graphics applications using Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL, Metal, WebGL, or similar graphics APIs.
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or comparable real-time rendering frameworks.
  • Knowledge of GPU computing technologies including OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL.

  • Design, develop, and enhance advanced GPU profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tools for modern graphics platforms.
  • Develop features that improve developer productivity, application performance, and graphics optimisation workflows.

Staff Graphics Tools Engineer | GPU Developer Tools / Graphics Software / Performance Optimisation

We are currently partnered with a leading technology company developing next-generation GPU developer tools and graphics technologies for high-performance computing, gaming, AI, and mobile platforms. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Staff Graphics Tools Engineer to design and develop advanced profiling, debugging, and performance analysis tools that enable developers to maximise GPU performance across modern graphics and compute workloads.
