Job summary

Mater Private Network – Preventive Health / Healthcheck Service in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a GP to deliver premium, patient-centred health assessments focused on prevention, early detection, and long‑term wellbeing in a private hospital setting.

The Healthcheck Physician will perform comprehensive assessments, interpret diagnostics, provide evidence‑based recommendations, and coordinate referrals, collaborating with consultants, nurses and allied health teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive health assessments, including history, examination, and risk profiling.
• Interpret diagnostics such as labs, imaging and cardiovascular screening.
• Provide clear, evidence-based clinical recommendations and personalised reports.
• Communicate results effectively and arrange follow-up or specialist referral where needed.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and allied health teams.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and uphold Medical Council standards.

The Role

As a Healthcheck Physician, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive health assessments, including history, examination, and risk profiling
• Interpret diagnostics such as labs, imaging, and cardiovascular screening
• Provide clear, evidence‑based clinical recommendations and personalised reports
• Communicate results effectively and arrange follow‑up or specialist referral where needed
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and allied health teams
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and continuous quality improvement
• Maintain high‑quality documentation and uphold Medical Council standards

What We’re Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent and vocational training in General Practice
• Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of Ireland – General Practice
• Experience in primary care, preventive medicine, internal medicine, or health screening
• Excellent clinical judgement with a preventive, risk‑based approach
