Job summary

Mater Private Network – Preventive Health / Healthcheck Service in Ireland is expanding its GP-led Healthcheck Service and is seeking a Healthcheck Physician to deliver premium, patient-centered health assessments focused on prevention and long-term wellbeing.

The role involves conducting comprehensive health assessments, interpreting labs and imaging, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations, arranging follow-up or referrals, and collaborating with nurses and allied teams to uphold

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and vocational training in General Practice.
• Specialist registration with the Medical Council of Ireland – General Practice.
• Experience in primary care, preventive medicine, internal medicine, or health screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive health assessments, including history, examination, and risk profiling.
• Interpret diagnostics such as labs, imaging, and cardiovascular screening.
• Provide clear, evidence-based clinical recommendations and personalised reports.
• Communicate results effectively and arrange follow-up or specialist referral where needed.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and allied health teams.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and uphold Medical Council standards.
