Job summary

bwgfoods is hiring a Goods In Operative on a permanent full-time basis at Value Centre Ennis, Co. Clare. The role involves receiving goods, stock rotation, and assisting customers, with work in chilled & frozen areas as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, be motivated and flexible, and have experience in warehousing or goods-in operations. Forklift experience is advantageous but not mandatory, with relevant safety certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and takes initiative with minimal supervision.

• Experience in a warehouse/goods-in environment.
• Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience with up-to-date certificate preferred but not essential.
• Professional approach with colleagues and partners.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt of all incoming goods using the in-house computer system.
• Work in chilled and frozen areas as required.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Stock control duties including rotation and stocktakes.
• Process stock returns, damaged stock and out-of-date products.
• Keep the area clean and tidy.
• Assist customers as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork and administration up to date.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
• Perform other duties as requested by your manager.
