Job summary

BWG Foods in Galway is seeking a Goods-In Operative for a full-time permanent role based at Value Centre, Galway. You will replenish chill and frozen stock, check deliveries and manage stock while ensuring paperwork is up to date and storage areas remain compliant with HACCP and safety standards.

The role requires proactive, flexible, and motivated individuals with warehouse experience and the ability to operate in ambient, refrigerated and freezer environments.

Qualifications

• Good organisational and time management abilities required.
• Proactive and highly motivated with initiative.
• Must be motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is essential.
• Experience in warehouse/goods-in environment preferred.
• Comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Replenish chill and frozen stock areas.
• Check in deliveries to the depot.
• Complete all required paperwork and administration.
• Manage stock and assist with stock returns and damaged goods.
• Maintain clean, tidy and compliant storage areas in line with HACCP and safety standards.
• Assist customers and support the team as required.
