Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. in Waterford, Ireland seeks an Intern passionate about software supply chain security and Go development. You will join a globally distributed team to contribute features, fix defects, and improve the build and release pipelines for our Kubernetes-based software product.

The internship runs January to August 2027, is paid, full-time, based in the Waterford office with flexible working hours, and offers exposure to upstream Sigstore projects and Red Hat culture.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Ireland during the full internship duration.
• Familiarity with CI tooling and processes is expected.
• Experience with Go programming and Kubernetes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute code in Go to multiple services in our Kubernetes-based stack.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Work on production build pipelines, tests, and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers across distributed teams and the Sigstore upstream community.
