MatchMedics is seeking a GP Lead in elderly care covering North Dublin & Louth. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care to older adults, with clinical autonomy and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, flexible 5/6 sessions in person with 4/5 sessions from home, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• IMC Specialist Registration in General Practice.
• Eligible to hold a GMS list and practice in Ireland.
• Experience in General Practice in Ireland with geriatrics interest.

Are you a GMS-eligible GP to lead and deliver medical care across a group of well-established nursing homes serving communities across North Dublin and Louth.

This is an opportunity to step into a respected clinical leadership role, working closely with experienced nursing and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, person-centred care to older adults.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing an established GMS patient list
• Providing care to both GMS and private residents
• Conducting assessments and reviews in line with HIQA standards
• Leading medication management, care planning, and end-of-life care
• Contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives

What We're Looking For

• IMC Specialist Registration in General Practice
• Eligible to hold a GMS list
• Previous General Practice experience in Ireland - a passion for geriatric medicine
• Strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills
• An interest in elderly care and delivering exceptional patient outcomes
