Job summary

Veolia Group in Grangecastle, Clondalkin, Dublin, seeks a Mechanical Shift Technician to monitor, operate and maintain utilities equipment in a cGMP environment. The role requires shift work with a focus on uptime, safety, and adherence to SOPs.

The candidate should hold a mechanical/instrumentation trade certificate, have marine experience and be fluent in English. Experience with SAP Maximo and DeltaV is advantageous. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent in Mechanical/Instrumentation.
• Marine qualification with 2-4 years experience at sea.
• Experience in Shift/Production/Maintenance teamwork in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor control systems for GMP and Non GMP alarms.
• Operate utilities equipment to maintain plant uptime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per procedures.
• Review permit to work before signing off.
• Raise safety, TIR and MIR reports as required.
• Coordinate lockout for hazardous energy.
• Liaise with engineering and commissioning teams for calibrations.
