Job summary

Veolia Group in Grangecastle, Clondalkin, Ireland, is seeking an Electrical Shift Technician to monitor, operate, and maintain utilities equipment in a cGMP environment. The role involves day-to-day shift tasks, alarm management, and collaboration with maintenance teams to meet KPIs.

The ideal candidate has an electrical/instrumentation trade certificate, 2–4 years at sea or in a similar shift/maintenance setting, and experience in regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or City & Guilds in Electrical/Instrumentation.
• Marine qualification with 2–4 years experience at sea.
• Worked in a Shift Team or as part of a Maintenance Team.
• Knowledge of Utilities Systems as per below.
• Worked in a Pharmaceutical, Brewery, Dairy and Food Industry.
• Worked in a regulated Industry (FDA, IMB, NSAI).
• Good coordination and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritise jobs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs for plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GMP and Non-GMP alarms and control systems.
• Escalate alarms per SOPs and procedures.
• Investigate alarms and operate utilities equipment per SOPs.
• Maintain plant uptime and perform preventative/corrective maintenance.
• Review permits to work before signing off and manage energy lockout.
• Collaborate with maintenance and calibration teams on scheduled work.
• Ensure timely execution of operations and maintenance tasks.
• Raise safety, TIR, and MIR reports as required.
