Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Shift Technician based in Grangecastle, Clondalkin, Dublin. The role focuses on monitoring, operating and first-line maintenance of Utilities equipment in a cGMP environment, ensuring plant uptime and adherence to SOPs.

You will participate in alarm management, calibration support and collaboration with maintenance teams to deliver on KPI targets. The role requires a trade certificate or equivalent, experience in shift work and knowledge of utilities

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent in Mechanical / Instrumentation.
• Experience in shift-based maintenance within a regulated facility.
• Knowledge of Utilities Systems and cGMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate utilities equipment in a cGMP environment.
• Perform first-line maintenance and respond to alarms and escalations.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to complete tasks on schedule.
• Review SOPs and training materials; maintain safe working practices.
