Job summary

Veolia | Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Shift Technician to monitor and operate utilities equipment in a cGMP environment. The role covers day-to-day shift tasks under the shift Lead and requires hands-on maintenance and problem-solving in Grangecastle, Clondalkin, Dublin.

The candidate will run field rounds, review permits to work, and coordinate with calibration and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with SOPs and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate and communicate effectively within a shift team.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Familiarity with GMP/NSAI or similar regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor control systems for GMP and Non GMP alarms.
• Escalate alarms per SOPs and procedures.
• Investigate alarms as per procedures.
• Operate utilities equipment per SOPs.
• Maintain plant uptime to meet KPIs.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and calibration teams.
• Review permits to work before sign-off.
• Act as lockout coordinator for Hazardous Energy.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors.
