Job summary

Veolia protects a Dublin-based pharmaceutical client’s critical utilities while maintaining compliance and safety. The Electrical Shift Technician role covers on-site monitoring, maintenance, and fault resolution across all site utilities during shifts.

You will actively participate in permits, SOPs, and GMP engineering systems, with focus on reliability, documentation, and collaboration with the operations team.

Qualifications

• Senior trades qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience post qualification in industrial utilities, preferably pharma.
• Strong initiative, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operation and monitoring of site critical utilities systems.
• First line and scheduled maintenance for utilities equipment.
• Respond to deviations and incidents per site procedures.
• Liaise with subcontractors during planned service maintenance.
• Review and sign off permits as area owner.
• Maintain SOPs, IPPC licence compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
• Update training curricula with client requirements.
• Investigate utilities equipment issues and drive improvements.
• Work with shift team to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
• Support shutdowns and maintenance activities as needed.
