Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Raheen, Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Quality Control specialist to support on-site laboratory operations within a fast-paced GMP environment.

You will receive, verify, and manage QC samples using LIMS, maintain chain of custody, and ensure compliance with approved procedures while supporting shipment, inventory, and disposal activities. Collaboration across cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, track, and manage QC samples throughout their lifecycle using LIMS.
• Maintain chain of custody and ensure samples are handled per GMP requirements.
• Support sample shipment, inventory management, storage, and disposal.
• Review and document test results, reporting quality concerns or anomalies.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and support readiness activities.
• Assist with temperature monitoring and preventive maintenance.
• Verify instrument calibration prior to use.
• Write and update SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to support compliance and excellence.
• Support continuous improvement, method validations, and project activities.
