Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a hands-on Temporary Production Operator to support our Wexford manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.

The role covers materials handling, processing, filling and labelling, with emphasis on accurate batch records, GMP practices and team collaboration. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred and a proactive approach to quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence operating machinery.
• Strong computer literacy; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems is desirable.
• Experience working effectively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Forklift truck experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production activities across materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling.
• Maintain accurate batch records in line with quality procedures.
• Prepare and operate manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient and hygienic production.
• Operate machinery to support the accurate packaging of ingredients.
• Maintain equipment and production areas in accordance with GMP standards.
• Conduct final product quality checks and inspections before shipment.
• Follow strict procedures to protect confidential processes, ingredients and intellectual property.
