Job summary

Parker Stewart on behalf of a leading multinational medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturer seeks a Maintenance Technician in Longford. You will maintain mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems on filling, labeling and packaging lines within a GMP setting.

The role requires hands-on PLC experience, QMS knowledge and availability for shift work. A 33% shift premium enhances the base package, reflecting the demanding schedule and regulatory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified or degree in engineering
• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing (pharma/medical devices/food)
• Hands-on PLC experience (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
• Working knowledge of QMS and GMP documentation
• Experience with facilities and utilities systems (Boilers, HVAC)
• Availability for shift work

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems across production equipment
• Work with PLC control systems (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
• Own facilities and utilities (Boilers, HVAC, Ultra-low Freezers)
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules on time
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and restore operation
• Maintain GMP-compliant records
• Use Maximo CMMS per site standards
