Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Stamullen, County Meath, is hiring a Maintenance Technician on a permanent day shift (Thu–Sat, 7am–7pm). The role covers machine changeovers, breakdowns, planned maintenance and ensuring production runs safely and in GMP compliance.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, program PLCs, and contribute to continuous improvements. The successful candidate holds an advanced certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering, has 4 years’ experience, and can work

Qualifications

• Advanced technical education in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• 4 years’ maintenance experience.
• Proven track record of delivering results through leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet targets.
• Proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Willingness to work across shifts as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices and report near misses to EHS.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas and equipment.
• Follow defined routine maintenance schedules across all equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production loss.
• Lead root-cause analysis and problem solving.
• Analyse equipment to redesign systems for improved processes.
• Plan and implement engineering improvements and validation.
• Advise on major repairs or maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities for production improvements and implement changes.
• Complete documentation accurately (tooling logs, setting sheets, PPM).
• Assist with training of colleagues.
