Job summary

Solventum in Athlone, Ireland, is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Controller to ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations in the shipping function. The role involves coordinating collections, deliveries, and storage, while maintaining GMP‑compliant processes.

You will work with QA, Finance, and Trade Compliance to manage shipments, documentation, and inventory control. A background in high‑volume warehousing and ERP systems is preferred, with onsite work in Athlone.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or 2 years equivalent experience in a similar work environment.
• Logistics qualification or related training would be an advantage.
• Two years equivalent experience in a busy high volume warehouse setting.
• Shipping or relevant industry experience (customs, exports, imports, etc.) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse shipping function, including collections and deliveries of goods and management of storage locations.
• Manage transport requirements for all collections and deliveries and respond to shipping requests promptly.
• Compile weekly shipping plan and coordinate with sterilizer sites; monitor and adjust as required.
• Liaise with sterilization sites daily on Pre‑Sterile and Post‑Sterile products and align with Sales/Capital orders.
• Oversee picking and shipment of Spares orders; ensure accuracy and compliance of paperwork.
