Job summary

Novartis Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Vendor Program Strategy Director to partner with the GCO sub-team, translating the clinical strategy into an integrated vendor approach across trials. This role requires cross-functional leadership to align vendor needs, anticipate demand, and drive program objectives.

You will lead master vendor strategies, manage risk, and optimize efficiencies while collaborating with procurement, trial vendors, and clinical teams in a hybrid model with on-site

Qualifications

• Significant clinical development and clinical operations experience with outsourced trial activities.
• Strong leadership of cross-study vendor planning in a global environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the vendor program-level business partner for vendor strategy across the clinical program lifecycle.
• Align portfolio program needs with vendor capabilities and strategies across stakeholders.
• Lead development and execution of master vendor strategies including selection and risk mitigation.
• Maintain program-level delivery, performance, and risk across trials with data-driven insights.
• Enable early vendor engagement from concept through feasibility and planning.
• Drive program productivity and value realization with tracking of benefits.
• Provide strategic direction to Trial Vendor Managers and Vendor Start-up Managers.
