Job summary

Bank of America in Dublin offers a 6-month Industrial Placement Analyst programme within Global Technology. The role provides full-time tech exposure, integration into one team, and extensive training with mentorship.

You will work on modern tech stacks (Java, C++, .NET, Python) and participate in AI-assisted development while adhering to enterprise security and governance standards. The placement runs January 2027 to September 2027, with potential for future employment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with completion between Sept 2027 and July 2028
• On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification
• Must have a placement programme built into the academic curriculum and be available from January 2027 for 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, C++, .NET, Python, Web Services and AI tools
• Evaluate and promote responsible use of AI across the software development lifecycle with security and governance in mind
• Translate client requirements into technical design specifications and processes
• Code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure integration with existing systems via robust interfaces
• Participate in CI/CD events and maintain documentation and release notes
