Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking an International Tax Director to lead our growing Tax department. You will present solutions to complex technical issues, develop client strategies, and manage a team day to day.

Qualifications

• ATT/ACA/ACCA or CTA qualification.
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in an international tax department of a large firm.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to identify opportunities for clients.
• Capable of working on own initiative and managing a team.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the team.
• Strong interpersonal and people development skills.
• Ambitious and pursuing a career in practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team providing international tax services for a broad range of clients in various industries.
• Provide support to clients' cross-border transactions and assess international tax strategies.
• Manage the implementation of multiple projects, meeting deadlines, prioritization and billings.
• Contribute to the tax practice's development by managing existing clients and identifying opportunities for new work.
