Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks an International Tax Director to lead a growing Tax department, delivering solutions to complex issues and guiding a team on a day-to-day basis.

You will develop strategies for cross-border transactions and manage multiple projects while helping expand client work across industries. This role offers progression within the firm and a competitive remuneration package.

Qualifications

• ATT/ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified.
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in an international tax department of a large firm.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to identify opportunities for clients.
• Capable of working on your own initiative.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and the team.
• Strong interpersonal and people development skills.
• Ambitious and pursuing a career in practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team providing international tax services for a broad range of clients in multiple industries.
• Provide support to clients’ cross-border transactions and assess international tax strategies.
• Manage the implementation of several projects, meeting deadlines, prioritization and billings.
• Contribute to the tax practice’s development by managing existing clients and identifying opportunities.
