Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale payments initiatives in Ireland. You’ll oversee initiation to delivery, coordinate across software, security, IT, and customer service, and ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets.

You will drive requirement analysis, budgeting, and stakeholder communication, mentoring others while delivering client-valued solutions that align with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Project management certification (PMI-PMP) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages large-scale, complex projects from initiation to delivery.
• Creates and implements operational plans, monitors progress and budget.
• Escalates issues to minimize delays and ensures timely delivery.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepares regular status reports for leadership and clients.
• Mentors junior project managers and guides planning and budgeting.
• Ensures projects meet scope, cost, and quality targets.
