Job summary

Inova Group in Mayo, Ireland, is seeking a Global Production Planner to lead production planning across Mayo and Hungary, reporting to the Sales Director. This senior onsite role drives master production scheduling, demand forecasting, and cross-functional coordination.

You will manage forecasts, align supply and demand, optimize schedules, and improve planning processes while maintaining customer commitments and schedule stability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production planning, forecasting, inventory management, MRP and lean processes.
• Strong people management, organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to balance supply and demand in a dynamic plant.
• Proven forecast accuracy improvement and rescheduling ability.
• Decision-making based on plant priorities and market needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain production plans in line with MPS and plant priorities.
• Manage demand forecasts with accuracy and timely updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate inputs into actionable plans.
• Reconcile order changes and shifting priorities to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate price lists and dealer setups with Sales Director and Finance.
• Oversee load lists, freight coordination and timely dispatch information.
• Communicate with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Engineering to align priorities.
• Evaluate forecast inputs, demand trends, inventory, and capacity to adjust plans.
• Monitor Customer Estimated Ship Dates and update at milestones.
