Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is hiring a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer to provide electrical infrastructure support for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with product development to understand all facets of each product and own it through its life cycle as a global SME for electrical products deployed in data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies and construction methods of data center equipment.
• Experience in commissioning data center or mission critical facilities.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in data centers or related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design and compliance.
• Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographic zones.
• Explain complex systems in clear, concise language.
• Provide support to Field Engineering for root cause analysis and investigations.
• Collaborate with quality teams for component-level investigations, maintenance, and SOP reviews.
• Listen to customers to identify improvements for reliability or availability.
• Design product improvements with global suppliers and oversee root cause analysis.
• Contribute to the global knowledge base and drive continuous improvement at scale.
