Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant area and 12+ years of procurement experience.
• Minimum 9 years direct sourcing experience in Pharma/Biotech.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced judgement, planning, and independent thought leadership to influence business program outcomes and drive procurement deliverables.
• Direct or matrix-manage a procurement team responsible for category management and sourcing projects.
• Develop and present functional strategy aligned with category business strategy and operational requirements.
• Lead the global category management program for spend categories under management.
• Review major contracts and lead complex negotiations with leader level mastery.
• Liaise with finance to ensure sourcing activities align with financial controls and budgetary oversight.
• Provide mentorship, support, and leadership to ensure goals are achieved.
