Job summary

COCA-COLA CO in Ballina, Ireland seeks a Procurement Packaging Manager I on a 22-month temporary contract. You will lead regulatory-compliant packaging sourcing across Europe, drive supplier onboarding, and analyse materials and spend using SAP.

You will collaborate with operations and global stakeholders to advance sustainability, optimize costs, and manage packaging projects from discovery through implementation. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
MBA or advanced degree preferred; APICS certification.
8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply management, ideally with global category expertise.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials and regulatory frameworks.
Experience with data analytics and SAP.

Responsibilities

Research trends, regulations, and material innovations to develop sourcing strategies.
Lead supplier qualification and onboarding for new packaging solutions.
Conduct commodity analysis (PET, HDPE, steel) and monitor economic factors.
Negotiate and manage supplier agreements balancing cost, quality, risk.
Use SAP and data tools to deliver spend analytics and cost modelling.
Partner with stakeholders to manage packaging projects.
