Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Product Line Project Manager to drive NPDI processes end-to-end for assigned product lines. You will report to the central PMO while embedded in product line engineering teams, guiding cross-functional groups through the full seven-gate lifecycle from concept to market launch and project closure.

You will own the project schedule, gate deliverables, cost tracking, TRL readiness, and risk management, coordinating with engineering, operations, procurement, advanced manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in product development, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent project management tools.
• Experience managing stage-gate / phase-gate product development end-to-end.
• PMP certification required; NPDP or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPDI projects through all seven phases and gates from idea to closure.
• Manage cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and more.
• Own project schedule, gate deliverables, and advancement checklists in Smartsheet.
• Execute the Product Cost Process and track cost metrics at each gate.
• Coordinate TRL assessments and manufacturing readiness planning.
• Report project status to product line leaders and PMO leadership.
