Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Team Lead to guide a dedicated team of PMs delivering busbar and electrical distribution projects across data centres and MEP environments.

The role combines delivery accountability with people leadership, balancing coaching with execution in a fast-paced engineer‑to‑order setting. Candidates should have strong leadership, commercial awareness, and multi‑stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' project management experience within manufacturing, MEP, or data centre environments.
• At least 2 years in a team lead or people management capacity.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects and developing others.
• Experience in engineer‑to‑order or project‑driven organisations; client‑facing ownership.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of Project Managers and oversee delivery across the portfolio.
• Manage project budgets, revenue and costs, and drive commercial performance.
• Lead early engagement after sales handover, confirming site dates and programme.
• Coordinate BIM, design submittals and approvals with Engineering and Production.
• Develop and maintain project programmes with Planning; monitor risks and dependencies.
• Provide regular portfolio‑level reporting and governance to drive improvements.
